#TATURUS HYPERSWITCH BUTTON PC#
The Viper is a rather simple mouse in configuration: just connect it to the PC to carry out the automatic recognition that activates a request for installation of Synapse, Razer’s proprietary software. However, the stability of the lower part is excellent with two large Teflon-coated pins in the front and in the back which together with the slot for the Razer 5G Advanced Optical Sensor from 16000 DPI, leads us to simply stratospheric sensitivity values now to the advantage of precision of use and certainly not within the reach of hisensers. Certainly not the best solution for snipers or for those who have to change sensitivity on the fly, although it is possible to find alternative solutions to this problem thanks to Synapse. It is not on the top with the two canonical buttons behind the mouse wheel, but at the bottom with a button that allows you to cycle between five sensitivity levels. In addition to the perfect symmetry that makes it suitable for right-handed and left-handed, the solution of positioning the sensitivity control is striking. For the rest, there are no particular notes to make: the Viper is made of standard quality plastic with two pleasant rubber pads on the sides for a better grip of the thumb, as well as good is the rubber coating of the wheel, characterized by an excellent response in rotation. You get used to it quickly but at first glance the impression is absolutely pleasant. This is the Speedflex solution, which further amplifies the lightness of the mouse giving the feeling of having a wireless controller in your hands. Not so much for the fact that it is braided as for the absolutely exceptional flexibility. As soon as it is picked up, in addition to the sensational lightness of its 69 grams, it immediately strikes that of the cable. There is little to say about the aesthetics of the mouse and you can also see it from the unboxing that you find accompanying the review: the package is quite basic but you can immediately see from the details that Razer has not given up a certain type of quality for this. Four years have passed and here we are testing another attempt by Razer to cover as many segments of the market with the Viper a very compact mouse, very light and, as we said, suitable for right-handed and left-handed players. It was a very large mouse, clearly meant for palmgrippers, with two additional buttons on the left and right side and a very attractive dynamic coloring. Razer has always taken care of left-handers and in fact already a few years ago we had dedicated ourselves to one of its products, the Razer Taipan, definitely one of the most elegant mice ever made by the snake house, with the characteristic of being perfectly symmetrical. The only solution to save goat and cabbage is the creation of a mouse with both controls, on one side and on the other, according to the wording “ambidextrous” which, however, is not very easy to find in the catalogs of many manufacturers. Producing left-handed mice by completely flipping the button on the right side is a commercial suicide that is easy to understand. Now any self-respecting mouse is equipped with an abundant selection of controls on the inside to the prerogative of the thumb and sometimes even the index in some particular conformations.
